Nintendo to suspend Netflix from Wii next year
Nintendo's 12-year-old Wii console will stop supporting Netflix and other streaming services starting next year.
In its blog, Netflix announced that its Netflix Channel on the Wii will not be available to new members as of July 31, 2018.
The shutdown of the Netflix Channel will be alongside the closure of the Wii Shop channel. Other video streaming services will not be available on the Wii after January 31, 2019.
