United States President Barack Obama has said that prospects of peace and a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine are "dim" following Israeli's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's vow to oppose a Palestinian state.

According to BBC, Netanyahu's remarks angered the White House. However, the Israeli PM has tried to soften his comment.

Obama said that his relationship with the Israeli PM is "businesslike".

Obama also suggested that he has met with Netanyahu more than he had met any other world leader.

The US President rejected Netanyahu's remarks rejecting creation of a Palestinian state.
