Indian tennis ace Leander Paes and his Swiss partner Martina Hingis were crowned as the 2016 French Open mixed doubles champions on Friday.
The Indo-Swiss pair produced a resilient performance as they recorded a 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over second seed Indo-Croatian duo of Sania Mirza and Ivan Dodig in a pulsating summit clash at Roland Garros.
With the win, Paes and Hingis have become the current holders of all four Grand Slam titles.
Paes, who had earlier achieved his career Grand Slam in men's doubles, has also completed his career Grand Slam in mixed doubles.
