Petrol price hiked by Rs. 0.14 /litre, diesel by Rs. 0.10 /litre

The government on Wednesday hiked the price of petrol by Rs. 0.14 per litre (inclusive of state levies) and that of diesel by Rs. 0.10 per litre (inclusive of state levies).

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to affect the following price changes w.e.f. midnight of October 4.

The increase in price of petrol and diesel in Delhi is consequent to the increase in Dealer Commission on Petrol and Diesel.

The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.
