Pierce Brosnan, who played the role of James Bond earlier, has backed Colin Salmon to be the next James Bond.
'The November Man' actor said in an interview with Radio Times that the 52-year-old English actor could be a good choice as he would mark as the first black man who would be playing the character of James Bond rather than a white man, E! Online reported.
The 61-year-old Irish actor added that Daniel Craig has made his mark gloriously, and wished that the best man get the job and may Craig bring home the bacon for as long as he wants.
Salmon has even starred in Bond movies before, and has played an 'MI6' aide and ally alongside Brosnan's Bond in the '90s movies.
