Gopaldas Saxena was an Indian poet and author of Hindi literature.
He was also part of the Hindi Kavi Sammelan,
'Neeraj' is known for his works in collaboration with noted music directors like S.D. Burman and Shankar-Jaikishan.
The 93-year-old breathed his last earlier in the day at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here.
