PM Modi extends Guru Purnima greetings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended Guru Purnima greetings to everyone.

Guru Purnima is a festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers.

The day of full moon, Purnima, in the month of Ashadh of the Hindu calendar is traditionally celebrated as Guru Purnima.

The celebration is marked by ritualistic respect to the guru, Guru Puja.
