Police questions Sir Cliff Richard over assault claim

Sir Cliff Richard has been interrogated by the police in connection with an alleged historical sexual offence.
The 73-year-old British pop singer, who has denied the allegations of an assault at a religious event in Sheffield in 1985 as "completely false", voluntarily met South Yorkshire Police officers and was interviewed under caution, the BBC reported.
Sources revealed that Richard, whose house was searched by the police recently, was not arrested or charged.
