Two National Security Guard (NSG) squads have been rushed to Gujarat following the input by Pakistan National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua to his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists had entered the state to carry out strikes.

The Pakistan's NSA informed that these are fidayeen from the Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-e Muhammed cadres.

The NSG teams are on standby and a high-level alert has been sounded across the state.

Important monuments and pilgrimage centres like Somnath temple, Dwarka Temple, Akashardham, power plants, defence, dams like Sardar Sarovar Dam and security establishments have also been put on alert.

The warning from Pakistan comes after five abandoned Pakistani boats found in the past three months in Kutch.

An abandoned boat was found by a BSF patrolling team off Koteshwar coast in Kutch on Friday.
