Quake-damaged houses being reconstructed in East Sikkim

In East Sikkim, the reconstruction of houses under the Reconstruction of Earthquake Damaged Rural Houses (REDRH) scheme is underway.

Recently, a new house under the scheme was handed over to a beneficiary of Pakyoung village under the Parkha Block administration council.

The MLA cum chairman of the State Bank of Sikkim L M Lepcha inaugurated the house.

Locals organized a dance programme on the occasion.
