Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the birthday wishes extended by the latter.
The official twitter handle of Gandhi's office shared the Congress vice president's thoughts.
"Thank you for your best wishes @narendramodi," it posted.
Gandhi also thanked his supporters who had tweeted birthday greetings.
"Thank you for all the love, affection, and kind birthday wishes:Rahul Gandhi," his office posted.
Rahul Gandhi turned 45 years old on June 19. This is reportedly the first time he will spend his birthday in India after entering active politics.
