Brazilian Paralympic champion Alan Oliveira has expressed his desire to compete against arch-rival Oscar Pistorius when the latter is released from jail.
Earlier, Pistorius voiced his frustration at the length of the blades used by Alan Oliveira after the Brazilian snatched the men's T44 200m title at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
Oliveira said that he wished Pistorius would come back and they could run more times together, adding that it would be a good competition to see the two of them together again, repeating the duel seen in London, the BBC reported.
Admitting that the six-time Paralympic champion should return to the field, Oliveira said that though it would be difficult for him to return as it would depend on how he is feeling, shaping up and of course his age, it would be great if he could return, the report added.
Pistorius, who is serving a five-year jail sentence for killing his girlfriend, was acquitted of murder charges and was found guilty of culpable homicide.
