Roman Polanski has revealed that he trusts the Polish Judiciary System and that he will cooperate with the authorities as they deal with the latest extradition request from the U.S.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, earlier Polish prosecutor general's office in Warsaw had said that they plan to question the 'Chinatown' director after receiving the request in relation to a 1977 sex crime.

The 81-year-old has said that he knows that an extradition request has come, and, of course, he will undergo the procedure and hopes everything will be all right.

Polanksi has recently been staying in the Polish city of Krakow, where he lived as a child during WWII and where he plans to shoot his next film.
