People's Conference leader Sajjad Gani Lone has won from Handwara constituency in Jammu and Kashmir.
'I am thankful to the people. This was a challenge for me. I have given an answer," said Lone.
According to latest election trends in the state, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) is leading in 29 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ahead in 25 seats, the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) is leading in 16 seats while the Congress is ahead in just 11 seats.
