Reigning Masters and US Open champion Spieth's bid for the third leg of an unprecedented calendar slam came up agonisingly short at St.Andrews, where he finished a stroke outside the play-off between the eventual winner Zach Johnson, Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishman.
The 22-year-old American admitted that he has got a little bit of revenge that he needs to get out from having control of the Open Championship with two holes to go and not closing it out, the BBC reported.
