Sri Lankan navy apprehends 27 Indian fishermen
At least 27 Indian fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy with five boats near Delft Island on Tuesday morning.
The apprehended fishermen are from Tamil Nadu's Pudukkottai district, official sources said.
The fishermen were taken to Sri Lanka's Kankesanthurai naval camp for interrogation.
