Taapsee Pannu dons sportsperson's hat

The new motion poster of 'Soorma' has been dropped, featuring Taapsee Pannu as Harpreet - a dreamer and an achiever.

Shared by Pannu herself on her social media, the poster gave a glimpse of the 30-year-old actress, donning the hat of a sportsperson.

Pannu wrote, "For my undying love for sports and my country. Meet Harpreet aka Preet - who believes in pushing the boundries. Know her story on 13th July."

The 'PINK' lady has undergone vigorous training to perfect her portrayal of the character.

'Soorma' is a biopic made on the life of hockey legend, Sandeep Singh. Singh is regarded as one of the world's most dangerous drag-flickers, masters in a peculiar scoring technique in hockey. He was even graced with the nickname 'Flicker Singh' for his drag speeds of over 145 km/hr.

 

Popular singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh will essay the role of the hockey legend.

Helmed by Shaad Ali, the film is set to hit the theaters on July 13.
