Tangdhar: Army jawan killed in terrorist attack

One army jawan was today killed in the terrorist attack at army post in Tangdhar near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.

At around 7:40 am, three to four terrorists positioned themselves at a mountainous ridge near the camp located near the LoC. The terrorists also threw grenades.

Heavy exchange of fire is underway as the army has launched a counter-terror operation against the militants.

According to reports, an oil depot in the army camp has caught fire amid the gun battle.
