Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday said that his government is determined to implement the housing scheme by eliminating political corruption to meet the desires of poor in the state.

Chandrashekar Rao said it is his government's responsibility to build houses for poor, adding the previous government did construct a large number of buildings prior to formation of Telangana.

KCR said that most people in Telangana live in houses given by the government but still many people require proper accommodation as sufficient houses were not built and funds were misused during the previous government's tenure.

He added that 225 people have been book under cases of funds misuse between 2004 and 2014.
