Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has said in his emotional farewell speech that mentor Achrekar sir never told him that he had played well because he did not want the master blaster to be complacent.

Sachin said that he used to ride on his mentor's scooter and play two matches a day.

He added that his career started when he was 11 and was extremely delighted to see Achrekar sir in the stands.

Tendulkar hoped that his mentor would not give him a 'well played' note since he would never play cricket any more.
