Tom Jones' women fans went overboard when they swamped the star with their 'undies' during his recent performance in Wales.

The 74-year-old star, who was playing his first big solo in the city for nine years, performed his hits including 'Mama Told Me Not to Come' and 'It's Not Unusual,' at Chepstow Racecourse, the Mirror reported.

A fan out of the 10,000 present in the crowd said that they hurled their thongs at the veteran singer as they still found him to be a "sex bomb.
