Winter session of Chhattisgarh legislative assembly begins today

The winter session of the Chhattisgarh legislative assembly will kick off on Tuesday here.

For the five-day winter session, the assembly has received notices for five bills from the Chhattisgarh government.

The second supplementary budget estimates will also be tabled in the session.

A total of 830 notices for questions have been received, out of which 446 are starred and 384 are un-starred.

The session is expected to be a stormy affair with the Congress party deciding to corner the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on several issues.
