ANI Jakarta [Indonesia]

The World Bank (WB) has projected that the Indonesian economy would grow 5.20 percent this year, more than the government's projection of 5.18 percent.

The WB said both private consumption and investment are expected to strengthen.

The World Bank country director for Indonesia, Rodrigo A Chaves said, "The investment growth is still high, considering the increasing prices of commodities," quoted by The Jakarta Post.

The global economy would grow slower due to tightening monetary conditions, Chaves added.
