Toyota Sells 15,795 units in September 2013

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Japanese auto major Toyota fully owned subsidiary registered total sales of 15,795 units in September 2013, as compared to 14, 291 units in the corresponding month, last year. The company exported a total 3,780 units of the Etios series last month.

The company sold 12,015 units in the domestic market in Sept 2013 as compared to 12,115 units in Sept 2012.

Commenting on the sales in Sept 2013, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said “The market continues to be sluggish. We hope that the market will improve with the upcoming festive season."
