Alembic standalone net profit rises 65.25% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 7.31% to Rs 33.21 crore

Net profit of Alembic rose 65.25% to Rs 4.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 7.31% to Rs 33.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 35.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 51.98% to Rs 41.78 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 27.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 14.85% to Rs 125.30 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 147.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
