Australian share market closed steep lower on Monday, 1 December 2014, as selloff pressure across the board, with mining and energy companies being major losers due to fall in crude oil, copper and other commodities to multi-year lows. The S&P/ASX 200 index stumbled 105.3 points, or 2%, to end the day at 5207.7. That adds to Friday's 1.6% fall in the benchmark index.
