Balrampur Chini Mills reports standalone net loss of Rs 42.69 crore in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 21.21% to Rs 1025.52 crore

Net loss of Balrampur Chini Mills reported to Rs 42.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against net profit of Rs 200.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 21.21% to Rs 1025.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 846.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 62.67% to Rs 221.12 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 592.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 25.50% to Rs 4342.54 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3460.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
