GIC Housing Finance announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 07 November 2016, inter alia, has transacted the following:- Warendra Sinha, Managing Director & CEO has resigned from the Board w.e.f. 07 November 2016 consequent to the orders of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt, of India, elevating him as a General Manager & Whole Time Director of National Insurance Company, Kolkata.
- S. Gopakumar (General Manager, from The Oriental Insurance Company on Deputation) has been appointed as Managing Director & CEO.
