Board of NHPC approves initiation of merger process for Jalpower Corporation

At meeting held on 2 September 2021

The Board of NHPC at its meeting held on 24 September 2021 has approved the proposal to initiate the process of merger / amalgamation of Jalpower Corporation (Wholly Owned Subsidiary of NHPC) with NHPC as per applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 subject to approval of Government of India.
