Capital Goods shares gain

Capital Goods stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index rising 95.24 points or 0.57% at 16721.15 at 09:49 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, SKF India Ltd (up 3.84%), Bharat Forge Ltd (up 2.25%),Siemens Ltd (up 1.51%),Grindwell Norton Ltd (up 1.49%),AIA Engineering Ltd (up 1.41%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (up 0.93%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd (up 0.85%), Honeywell Automation India Ltd (up 0.36%), GMR Infrastructure Ltd (up 0.23%), and Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (up 0.21%).

On the other hand, V-Guard Industries Ltd (down 2.85%), Thermax Ltd (down 2.61%), and Bharat Electronics Ltd (down 2.24%) moved lower.

 

At 09:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 57.84 or 0.15% at 39793.37.

The Nifty 50 index was down 9.1 points or 0.08% at 11652.75.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 26.96 points or 0.19% at 14317.74.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 15.2 points or 0.31% at 4939.96.

On BSE,558 shares were trading in green, 970 were trading in red and 67 were unchanged.
