Capital Goods shares slide

Capital Goods stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index falling 49.98 points or 0.29% at 17303.85 at 13:50 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, NBCC (India) Ltd (down 1.97%), Finolex Cables Ltd (down 1.88%),Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (down 1.02%),Larsen & Toubro Ltd (down 0.8%),Elgi Equipments Ltd (down 0.73%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (down 0.71%), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 0.48%), ABB India Ltd (down 0.14%), and V-Guard Industries Ltd (down 0.11%).

On the other hand, HEG Ltd (up 3.22%), Graphite India Ltd (up 2.41%), and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (up 1.97%) moved up.

 

At 13:50 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 89.53 or 0.24% at 37193.81.

The Nifty 50 index was up 27.25 points or 0.25% at 11010.05.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 58.74 points or 0.46% at 12966.43.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.95 points or 0.21% at 4314.81.

On BSE,1211 shares were trading in green, 1051 were trading in red and 141 were unchanged.
