Eastern Silk Industries standalone net profit declines 48.96% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 28.81% to Rs 13.69 crore

Net profit of Eastern Silk Industries declined 48.96% to Rs 28.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 55.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 28.81% to Rs 13.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 19.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 52.27% to Rs 21.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 44.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 18.81% to Rs 51.49 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 63.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
