Two-day net inflow of Rs 1116.50 crore on 1 and 2 April 2014

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 1116.50 crore during two trading sessions on Tuesday, 1 April 2014 and Wednesday, 2 April 2014.

The net inflow of Rs 1116.50 crore on Tuesday, 1 April 2014 and Wednesday, 2 April 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 8340.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 7224.20 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 1117.70 crore into the secondary equity market during two trading sessions on Tuesday, 1 April 2014 and Wednesday, 2 April 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 8340.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 7223 crore.

 

There was an outflow of Rs 1.20 crore from the category 'primary market & others' during two trading sessions on Tuesday, 1 April 2014 and Wednesday, 2 April 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 3998.70 crore in April 2014 so far (till 2 April 2014). FIIs purchased shares worth a net Rs 20077.20 crore in March 2014.

FIIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 26194.40 crore in this calendar year so far (till 2 April 2014). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 113135.70 crore in 2013 calendar year.

There are a total of 1,714 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India.
