FPIs continue selling

Net outflow of Rs 512.30 crore on 9 July 2018
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 512.30 crore into the secondary equity markets on 9 July 2018, compared with net outflow of Rs 1039.72 crore on 6 July 2018.
The net outflow of Rs 512.30 crore into the secondary equity markets on 9 July 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4489.23 crore and gross sales of Rs 5001.53 crore.
There was a net outflow of Rs 229.48 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 9 July 2018.
FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 27659.21 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 9 July 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 21544.03 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 9 July 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
