Gillette India standalone net profit declines 35.60% in the June 2016 quarter

Sales decline 5.66% to Rs 509.30 crore

Net profit of Gillette India declined 35.60% to Rs 46.90 crore in the quarter ended June 2016 as against Rs 72.83 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2015. Sales declined 5.66% to Rs 509.30 crore in the quarter ended June 2016 as against Rs 539.86 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 34.72% to Rs 213.03 crore in the year ended June 2016 as against Rs 158.13 crore during the previous year ended June 2015. Sales rose 4.13% to Rs 2051.87 crore in the year ended June 2016 as against Rs 1970.56 crore during the previous year ended June 2015.
