Hong Kong Stocks end up

The Hong Kong stock market closed slight higher on Tuesday, 29 March 2016, after the market resumed trading following the long Easter weekend. The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 20.69 points, or 0.1%, to 20366.30 points. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, benchmark measure of performance of mainland China enterprises, grew 25.80 points, or 0.3%, to 8726.93 points. Turnover reduced to HK$60.1 billion from HK$62.6 billion on Thursday. The local market closed on Friday to Monday for Easter holidays.
