The Hong Kong stock market finished session higher on Monday, 12 March 2018, building on a rally at the end of last week, helped by Wall Street's sharp advance on Friday as slower-than-expected wage increases in Friday's U.S. jobs data brushed off inflation concerns. The Hang Seng Index jumped 1.93%, or 598.12 points, to end at 31,594.33. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, or the H-shares index, climbed 2.1% to 12,697.31. Turnover increased to HK$119.7 billion from HK$100 billion on Friday.
