India's forex reserves jumps by US$ 2.342 billion in the week ended 06 December
India's foreign exchange reserves jumped by US$ 2.34 billion to fresh record high of US$ 453.42 billion in the week ended 06 December 2019. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 451.08 a week ago.Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets moved up to US$ 421.26 billion in the week ended 06 December 2019 from US$ 419.37 billion a week ago.
The gold asset also increased to US$ 27.08 billion from US$ 26.65 billion a week ago. SDRs were flat at US$ 1.44 billion in the week ended 06 December 2019.
India's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 40.55 billion over March 2019, while jumped US$ 59.69 billion over a year ago level.
