Kaveri Seed Company reports standalone net loss of Rs 87.19 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 1.92% to Rs 40.30 crore

Net Loss of Kaveri Seed Company reported to Rs 87.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 10.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 1.92% to Rs 40.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 41.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 54.45% to Rs 78.47 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 172.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.51% to Rs 669.89 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 716.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
