Praj Industries consolidated net profit declines 40.75% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 8.84% to Rs 301.57 crore

Net profit of Praj Industries declined 40.75% to Rs 22.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 38.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 8.84% to Rs 301.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 330.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 45.93% to Rs 44.60 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 82.48 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 10.61% to Rs 914.99 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1023.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
