L&T bags Rs 5100 crore supercritical power plant order on EPC basis

Larsen & Toubro has secured a turnkey order for setting up a 2x660 MW supercritical Thermal Power Project at Shree Singaji TPP (Stage II) on a complete engineering-procurement-construction basis from the state utility MP Power Generating Company (MPPGCL).

The project order valued at Rs 5100 crore covers design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of two coal-fired thermal units of 660 MW each with supercritical parameters. The project is located near village Dongalia in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.
