Maruti Suzuki India launches BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of Alto

Maruti Suzuki India launched the S-CNG variant of Alto. The CNG powered Alto BS6 will offer a mileage of 31.59 km/kg. Maruti Suzuki continues to pave the way for the new BS6 emission norms ahead of timeline with Alto SCNG as its first BS6 compliant CNG vehicle.

The launch of Maruti Suzuki's S-CNG vehicle range is aligned to and complements the Government of India's vision of reducing oil import and enhancing the share of natural gas in the energy basket of the country from 6.2% now to 15% by 2030.
