The Japan share market flitted between gains and losses before ending above neutral line for third straight session on Wednesday, 04 October 2017, thanks to positive lead from Wall Street overnight. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 12.59 points, or 0.06%, to close the day at 20,626.66, marking its highest close since Aug. 11, 2015. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, edged up 0.10 point, or 0.01%, to finish at 1,684.56. Falling issues beat rising ones by 1,096 to 820 on the First Section. The turnover on the third trading day of the week totaled 2,394.1 billion yen
