NTPC standalone net profit rises 40.69% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 13.14% to Rs 23100.26 crore

Net profit of NTPC rose 40.69% to Rs 2925.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2079.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 13.14% to Rs 23100.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 20416.67 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 10.21% to Rs 10343.17 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 9385.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 6.62% to Rs 83452.70 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 78273.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
