Orient Abrasives reports standalone net loss of Rs 3.26 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 6.95% to Rs 65.02 crore

Net loss of Orient Abrasives reported to Rs 3.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net profit of Rs 1.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.95% to Rs 65.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 69.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 70.69% to Rs 6.92 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 23.61 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 23.24% to Rs 219.75 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 286.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
