Phillips Carbon Black standalone net profit rises 1348.94% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 23.09% to Rs 455.22 crore

Net profit of Phillips Carbon Black rose 1348.94% to Rs 6.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 23.09% to Rs 455.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 591.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 80.85% to Rs 22.86 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 12.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 23.29% to Rs 1892.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2467.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
