Praj Industries standalone net profit declines 54.48% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 17.02% to Rs 238.97 crore

Net profit of Praj Industries declined 54.48% to Rs 17.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 38.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 17.02% to Rs 238.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 287.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 28.36% to Rs 46.86 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 65.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 11.47% to Rs 729.43 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 823.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
