Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals files with BIFR

Under Sick Industrial Companies Act

Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals announced that :

1. The Company has become a Sick Industrial Company as defined in Section 3(1 )(o) of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 (SICA) at the end of the financial year ended 31 March 2015.

2. Therefore, the Company had filed the necessary Reference in the prescribed Form 'A' with the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) under Section 15(1) of SICA, on 14 October 2015.

3. The Company's said Reference has been registered by BIFR as Case No. 152/2015.
