Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.55%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.55% at 459.35 today. The index has gained 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 6.93%, Phoenix Mills Ltd gained 2.53% and DLF Ltd rose 2.31%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 19.00% over last one year compared to the 8.38% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index gained 0.92% and Nifty IT index is down 0.79% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.07% to close at 17956.5 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.06% to close at 60298 today.
