Rama Phosphates net profit rises 35.80% in the March 2013 quarter

Net profit of Rama Phosphates rose 35.80% to Rs 4.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 3.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 5.68% to Rs 195.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 184.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 23.72% to Rs 25.63 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 33.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 11.43% to Rs 617.29 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 553.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
